When drawing my mental map of my hometown, Hingham, MA, I seemed to focus on where my home is in relation to the town. I included the roads I typically take and the places I go such as, my old high school, friends houses, Starbucks, Turkey Hills, etc. I also included the public areas that bring people together.

My mental map portrays Hingham to be a lot smaller in comparison to the geographical map. I do not normally visit every area in my town and have a select few of places that encounter on a day to day basis- causing my mental perception of my town to be smaller than reality.
